Opportunities and Challenges in Developing the Cotswold Farm Park

About Adam Henson

Farmer, Rural TV Presenter and Author, Adam Henson is a joint tenant of a 650 hectare mixed farm that is also home to the Cotswold Farm Park rare breed tourist enterprise.

Adam gained an HND in Agriculture from Seale Hayne Agricultural College before travelling and working in Australia and New Zealand for 12 months. Having returned home Adam took on the farm tenancy in 1999 and now runs the business with equal share holder Duncan Andrews.

The visitor attraction and accommodation in the form of a campsite, glamping and lodges have become a major part of the business.

Adam will talk about the history and development of the Cotswold Farm Park on a farm tenancy.

Adam will also discuss the challenges of a competitive market place, growing customer expectation and building a team to deliver an excellent and safe experience to 160,000 visitors!

Adam will share the businesses vision and brand values, particularly the development and diversification into the recent extension of their campsite of six family lodges!
