About Oliver Dale

Oliver comes from a farming background, cutting his teeth on a broad range of farm work before attending Shuttleworth Agricultural College.

Following 12 years practical farming experience, with hands on involvement in arable and vegetable cropping, Oliver ran a vegetable packing operation, servicing multiple retailers across the UK and Europe. After completing a project developing a farming operation in Chile, Oliver moved into agricultural consultancy specialising in health and safety.

Oliver is a chartered Health and Safety practitioner holding an MBA from Cranfield University and a NEBOSH diploma in Safety and Health. He leads the team at Safety Revolution Ltd.

It is a legal requirement for a business employing five or more staff to have a documented health and safety policy and risk assessments. This seminar will explore the importance of a robust and comprehensive health & safety management system in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, and also in relation to contractor management and vehicle compliance for rural businesses. Through practical application, Oliver will explain how businesses can benefit from a fundamental system which helps to deliver and fulfil moral, legal and financial obligations in the workplace.
